尊敬的燕山大学国际学生校友：
燕山大学自90年代中期开始招收来华留学生，2004年7月正式成立国际教育学院，十多年来，留学生规模不断扩大,办学水平持续提高。学院共计招收与培养学历与非学历留学生3000多人次，分别来自美、英、俄、韩等40多个国家，其中学历生1200人次,培养层次涵盖本科生、硕士研究生、博士研究生。几十年的发展历程，离不开广大校友的大力支持，承载着校友们对母校的浓浓情谊。
“建校溯源百周年·独立办学一甲子”，2020年，燕山大学将迎来她的百年华诞。为庆祝这一百年盛事，燕山大学将在各个国家成立国际学生校友会，以国家为单位建立各国校友分会，各设秘书长1名，副秘书长2名。
2020年9月10日，燕山大学将举行百年校庆大型庆典活动，届时诚邀各国校友积极参与，共同祝福母校百年华诞。如因疫情原因不能来现场助兴，各国校友分会可以录制祝福视频参与“云”典礼。

Yanshan University to establish International Alumni Association

Dear YSU International Alumni,
Yanshan University began its enrollment of international students in the middle of the 1990s and the School of International Education was founded in July 2004. In the years since its founding, the School of International Education developed continually with a growth of enrollment and provided quality education. International students reached a number of over 3,000 in total coming from more than 40 countries in the world of whom 1,200 enrolled in diploma programs covering doctoral, graduate and undergraduate levels. Your participating in YSU witnessed its growth in international education with your invaluable passion and support.
In 2020, Yanshan University is celebrating its 100th anniversary of establishment and 60th anniversary of independent enrollment. For this celebration, YSU decided to set up an International Alumni Association in every source country of our international alumni. For each of the branch associations, the positions of 1 Secretary General and 2 Associate Secretary Generals will be open.
The grand celebration will be held on September 10, 2020 while all international alumni are invited for the great moment. If the in-person participation is not feasible, the branch associations are suggested to record a blessing video and share online for participation.
