一、学校简介About Yanshan University

燕山大学是全国重点大学，河北省重点支持的国家一流大学和世界一流学科建设高校，北京高科大学联盟成员。燕山大学源于哈尔滨工业大学，前身为东北重型机械学院，是原机械工业部直属高校，1978年被确定为全国重点高等院校。1985年至1997年学校整体南迁秦皇岛市，更名为燕山大学。

Yanshan University (YSU) is one of China's national key universities. It is a major university supported by Hebei Province for the development of national first-class universities and world first-class disciplines, and a member of the Cooperation Consortium of Beijing High Technology Universities. Originating from Harbin Institute of Technology, YSU was formerly known as Northeast Heavy Machinery Institute, directly under the former Ministry of Machinery Industry. In 1978, it was designated as a national key institution of higher education. From 1985 to 1997, the university relocated entirely to Qinhuangdao City and was renamed Yanshan University.

燕山大学所在的河北省秦皇岛市，是国家历史文化名城。这里风光秀美、气候宜人，森林覆盖率达54%，具有“林在城中，城在林中”的优美城市风貌，是闻名遐迩的天然氧吧和避暑胜地。

Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province, where Yanshan University is located, is a national historical and cultural city. Boasting beautiful scenery and a pleasant climate, it has a forest coverage rate of 54%, presenting a beautiful urban landscape of "a city in the forest and a forest in the city". It is a well-known natural oxygen bar and summer resort.

燕山大学自90年代中期开始招收来华留学生，共计招收与培养学历与非学历留学生3000多人次，来自美、英、俄、韩等40多个国家。学校现有国际学生近500人，涵盖语言进修生与本、硕、博学历生。学校于2023年正式通过教育部来华留学生高等教育质量认证，意味着学校培养国际学生的能力得到了国家认证。

Since the mid-1990s, Yanshan University has been enrolling international students. It has recruited and trained over 3,000 degree and non-degree international students from more than 40 countries, including the United States, the United Kingdom, Russia, and South Korea. Currently, the university has nearly 500 international students, covering language students, undergraduate students, master's students, and doctoral students. In 2023, YSU formally passed the Higher Education Quality Certification for International Students issued by the Ministry of Education of China, which signifies that the university's ability to cultivate international students has obtained national certification.

二、项目目标Program Goals

学生通过一学年预科教育，在汉语、数学、相关专业知识、中华文化以及跨文化交际能力等方面达到进入我国高等学校本科专业阶段学习的基本要求；能够在专业课教学中使用汉语言进行听、记、问，能够借助工具书阅读中文专业资料，具备一定的专业基础知识以及良好的学习习惯；能够参加CSCA考试，为本科升学做好准备。

Through one academic year of foundation program studies, students will meet the basic requirements for entering the undergraduate program of Chinese universities in terms of Chinese language proficiency, mathematics, relevant professional knowledge, Chinese culture, and cross-cultural communication skills. They will be able to listen, take notes, and ask questions in Chinese during professional courses, read Chinese professional materials with the help of reference books, and possess certain professional basic knowledge and good study habits.Being able to take the CSCA exam and prepare for undergraduate studies.

能够深入了解中华文化和社会概况，运用汉语言知识和技能解决日常生活中的基本问题，具备进入专业学习时所需的书面表达能力及汉语言和专业基础知识水平。

Students will gain an in-depth understanding of Chinese culture and social conditions, use Chinese language knowledge and skills to solve basic problems in daily life, and possess the written expression ability as well as the Chinese language and professional basic knowledge level required for professional studies.

三、预科课程设置PREPARATORY COURSE ARRANGEMENT

开设汉语综合课、汉语听力课、理工中文课、数学课、物理课、化学课、中国文化课、HSK考试培训等课程

Offering courses including Chinese Language Synthesis, Chinese Listening and Speaking, STEM Chinese courses, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Chinese culture, HSK exam training, etc

学习周期：2026年9月至2027年6月

Learning period: September 2026 to June 2027

注：每学期总学时为30学时/周；根据预科生的实际情况，课程会适度调整，具体信息以国际教育学院最新通知为准。

四、申请资格APPLICATION ELIGIBILITY

1. 年龄在18-24周岁之间；

2. 已完成高中阶段教育，持有正式的高中毕业证书及成绩单；

3. 持有外国有效护照的非中国籍公民；

4. 身心健康，符合中国高等学校入学的健康标准。

3. Be a non-Chinese citizen holding a valid foreign passport;

4. Be in good physical and mental health, meeting the health standards for admission to Chinese universities.

4.体检证明（近6个月内，符合中国卫生检疫要求）；

5.无犯罪证明（近6个月内）

6.资金证明（5000美金以上）

1.Copy of valid passport (personal information page, and the passport validity must be on or after March 1, 2027);

2.High school graduation certificate and academic transcript (notarized or certified by the school);

3.Recent passport-sized color photo (2 inches, white background);

4.Medical examination certificate (issued within the last 6 months, meeting Chinese health and quarantine requirements);

5.Certificate of no criminal record (valid for 6 months)

6.Personal bank statement as evidence of financial support (over $5000 USD)

七、录取与入学ADMISSION AND ENROLLMENT

1. 学校将对申请人提交的材料进行审核，审核通过后发放录取通知书；

2. 申请人凭录取通知书到中国驻外使领馆办理来华学习签证；

3. 新生需按照录取通知书规定的时间到校报到，办理入学手续；

4. 入学后需参加学校组织的入学教育和体检复查。

2. Applicants should apply for a study visa to China at the Chinese embassy or consulate abroad with the admission notice;

3. New students should register at the university and complete the enrollment procedures according to the time specified in the admission notice;
