City Traffic

Students who reach Beijing by plane can take the non-stop airport bus to Qinhuangdao Long-Distance Bus Station（about 140 Yuan）. Then take a taxi to the No.7 Gate of Yanshan University which is in front of Liren College. The taxi fee is about 30 Yuan. You can also take the No. 34 Bus, the No. 6 Bus to Yanshan University (1 Yuan), and take the school bus to the West campus of YSU.

Students who take the train from Beijing Railway Station to Qinhuangdao Railway Station can take a taxi to the No.7 Gate of Yanshan University which is in front of Liren College. The taxi fee is about 35 Yuan. You can also take the No. 34, the No. 6 Bus to Yanshan University (1 Yuan), and take the school bus to the West campus of YSU.

The taxi fee is about 35 Yuan. You can also take the No. 6 Bus to Yanshan University (1 Yuan) and the school bus to the West campus of YSU. 

Students who reach the Qinhuangdao Airport (BPE)  can take the airport bus to Senlinyicheng (森林逸城) Bus Station (about 40 Yuan), then take a taxi to the No.7 Gate of Yanshan University which is in front of Liren College. The taxi fee is about 7 Yuan.

School Traffic

The school has school buses. One yuan each time. The bus starts from Xian Ting Si Yi Hotel and arrives at the Art and Design School.

The first bus leaves at 6:30 and the last bus at 23:00. Students who have arrived at Xian Ting Si Yi Hotel can take the school bus. Students who want to go to the office or classroom can get off at the Art and Design School. Students who want to go to the canteen or dormitory can get off at West Dormitory Buildings.

Classrooms and Offices

Classrooms and offices are on the first floor of the No.5 Teaching Building on the west campus. There are now 10 classrooms for international students and one computer testing center for HSK. The main office is in C101A and C101B. Students can register within the specified time according to the admission letter.

Catering

The school canteen is located in the southeast corner of the dormitory. It has three floors. The first is halal food. The second and third floors have some windows for specialties.

School Shopping

There are two larger supermarkets. Lilian Supermarket is located north of the No.9 dormitory building and Saiensi Supermarket is located west of the No.7 dormitory building. The buildings that the supermarkets in have a lot of shops, such as spectacles stores, accessory shops, express companies, and so on. There is a smaller store near the dormitory called LiSheng. If needed, students can take pictures and develop additional films in the photo studio which is near LiSheng, or in the graphic information center.

School Hospital

Students can see the school hospital after walking about 100 meters to the west of LiSheng. Students who need medical treatment at noon, at night, or on holidays should go to the school hospital in the east school area.

Banks and Post Office

There are the self-help banks of The China Construction Bank and Industrial & Commercial Bank of China and Post and Telecom Service Center on the first floor of the canteen. Students who need to draw some money, buy a cellphone or a phone, or post a parcel can go there to do a transaction.

Warm Tips:

The school will go through a residence permit for international students after registering. Time limit:

Non-degree students of Chinese language and culture： A residence permit need to apply for once a term.

Spring semester time limit: 10 July

Autumn semester time limit: 10 January of the following year

Non-degreescholarshipstudentscan applies for a residence permit until 10 July of the following year at a time.

Undergraduate students (including Scholarship Students): A residence permit need to apply for once a school year. From every September to 30 September of the following year.

Self-funded international students must apply for an extension from at least one month before their residence permit expires and pay their next year's tuition.

Students who purchase a roundtrip ticket before coming to China should make sure that the ticket time not exceed the residence time limit.
